Capt. Md. Mohaimanul Hoque graduated from Bangladesh Marine Academy in 1983 and started his sea-going career in the same year with Bangladesh Shipping Corporation. He worked in various capacities on bulk carriers, container and refer ships of different shipping companies in Singapore, Hong Kong, and the UK and transformed to shore career in 2005 after working at sea for 22 years.

Capt. Mohaiman has versatile experiences in shipping including chartering, operation, crew manning, survey, pilotage etc. He joined Crown Cement PLC. in November 2017 as Senior General Manager and currently working as Head of Shipping Department.
