About Me

Chief Engr. Md Ali Hassan has completed B.Sc in Maritime Science from Bangladesh Marine Academy in 2000 and M.Sc in Environmental Science from Stamford University, Bangladesh. After passing out from Bangladesh Marine academy, he obtained Japanese Government scholarship and graduated from Marine Technical College, Ashiya, Japan. He also completed his Marine Engineering competency certificate COC Class - I from Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore in 2010. He has joined in Major Trading and Shipping Services since April 2022 as General Manager (Technical).

Mr. Hassan has more than 22 years of professional experience in the field of ocean-going vessels, inland vessels, survey and so on. Prior to join Major Trading and Shipping Services, he worked in K-line Ship Management (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. as a Technical Superintendent for 02 years and as a Chief Engineer over 10 years in occen-going vessels.
